Ingredients

  • 2 cups whole, fresh cranberries
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup walnuts
  • 3/4 cup flour
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Toss cranberries, sugar, and walnuts in a 1 1/2-quart baking dish.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, brown sugar, and cinnamon.
  4. Cut in cold butter using a pastry blender until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Cover the cranberries with the flour and sugar mixture.
  6. Bake for 45 minutes.
  7. Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
