- Preheat oven to 350°F.
- Grease the bottom of an 8 x 4-inch loaf pan.
- In a large bowl, combine the cranberry bread mix, water, oil, egg, chopped pears, chopped nuts, and ground ginger.
- Stir by hand 50 to 75 strokes until dry particles are moistened.
- Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
- Bake for 70 to 80 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Cool for 15 minutes in the pan, then remove and cool completely.
- Wrap the loaf tightly in foil for storage.
