Ingredients

  • 5 cinnamon sticks
  • 1 teaspoon whole cloves
  • 1 tablespoon dried peppermint or 4 tablespoons fresh peppermint
  • 1/2 gallon cranberry-raspberry juice
  • 1 quart ginger ale
  • 1 orange, thinly sliced

Instructions

  1. Wrap cinnamon sticks, whole cloves, and fresh or dried peppermint in cheesecloth or place them in a cloth spice bag.
  2. Place the bundled spices in cranberry-raspberry juice and simmer for 20 minutes.
  3. Remove the spices and pour the juice into a punch bowl.
  4. Allow the punch to cool.
  5. Add ginger ale, orange slices, and fresh mint leaves for garnish before serving.
