Ingredients

  • 2 c. sifted flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 c. sugar
  • 1 egg, slightly beaten
  • 2/3 c. milk
  • 1/4 c. butter, melted
  • 1 c. whole cranberry sauce
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, sift the flour, baking soda, salt, and sugar.
  2. Add the egg, milk, melted butter, cranberry sauce, and chopped nuts to the dry ingredients.
  3. Mix only enough to moisten all ingredients.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased loaf pan.
  5. Bake in a moderate oven at 350°F for 1 hour.
