Ingredients

  • 2 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
  • 2 Tbsp. cream or milk
  • 4 c. powdered sugar
  • 4 (4 oz.) pkg. unsweetened chocolate, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp. rum
  • dash of salt
  • 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans or walnuts

Instructions

  1. Beat cream cheese and cream until smooth.
  2. Gradually beat in powdered sugar, then blend in melted chocolate.
  3. Stir in vanilla extract, rum, salt, and 1 cup of chopped nuts.
  4. Press the mixture into a lightly greased 8-inch square pan and cover the top with remaining nuts.
  5. Mark into 64 pieces (about 1-inch squares) and chill for several hours or overnight.
