Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
  • 1 large can crushed pineapple
  • 1 (6 oz.) box cherry Jell-O
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup chopped nuts

Instructions

  1. Add salt to the Jell-O, drain the pineapple, and add enough water to make 3 1/2 cups.
  2. Heat the mixture until warm.
  3. Mix in the Jell-O and cool until slightly thickened.
  4. Fold in softened cream cheese and beat with a mixer at high speed for a few minutes.
  5. Add pineapple and beat until the cheese is smooth.
  6. Add chopped nuts and chopped celery.
  7. Fold in Cool Whip.
  8. Refrigerate for a few hours until solid.
