Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1 (3 oz.) package cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon lemon or almond extract
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Combine the all-purpose flour and baking powder in a small bowl.
  2. In a small mixer bowl, beat the butter or margarine and cream cheese until softened and well blended.
  3. Add the sugar and lemon or almond extract, and beat until fluffy.
  4. Add the flour mixture and beat until well mixed.
  5. Cover the dough and chill for 1 to 2 hours or until easy to handle.
