Instructions
- Combine sugar, cream, water, corn syrup, and salt; cook to soft ball stage (236°) or 240° above boiling point of water.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool undisturbed until the pan can be held with comfort.
- Add vanilla flavoring; stir until creamy.
- Add nuts and turn into a buttered pan to harden.
- Once cooled and hard, cut into squares.
- May also be molded into various shapes.
