Ingredients

  • 4 cups celery, sliced diagonally
  • 1 (6 oz.) can water chestnuts, sliced thin
  • 1 can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 tablespoon pimento
  • toasted bread crumbs
  • 1/3 cup sliced almonds
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Cook the sliced celery in lightly salted water until tender; drain.
  2. Add sliced water chestnuts, condensed cream of chicken soup, and pimento to the cooked celery.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with toasted bread crumbs, sliced almonds, and melted butter.
