Ingredients

  • 24 oz. frozen hash brown potatoes
  • 1/4 cup margarine or butter
  • 2 cups half and half cream
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Heat margarine or butter, half and half cream, and salt together until warm.
  3. Spread half of the frozen hash brown potatoes in the bottom of a greased baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle with half of the Parmesan cheese.
  5. Top with the remaining hash brown potatoes.
  6. Sprinkle with the remaining Parmesan cheese.
  7. Pour the warm cream mixture evenly over the casserole.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour until golden and bubbly.
