A rich and creamy taco dip featuring seasoned ground beef, melted Velveeta, and beans, perfect for sharing at parties or casual gatherings with crunchy chips.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. ground chuck or ground round
  • 1 package taco seasoning
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 1 can whole style tomatoes
  • 1 can Ro-Tel
  • 1 can hot chili
  • 1 can regular chili
  • 2 cans chili hot beans or Ranch Style beans
  • 1 lb. Velveeta cheese, cubed
  • 1 1/2 pint whipping cream
  • Fritos or Doritos

Instructions

  1. Brown the ground meat and chopped onion in a skillet, adding a little oil if necessary.
  2. Add 3/4 cup water to the meat and onion mixture, cooking until meat is browned and onion is tender.
  3. Drain excess fat if needed.
  4. Add the taco seasoning, canned tomatoes, Ro-Tel, hot chili, regular chili, beans, cubed Velveeta cheese, and whipping cream to the skillet.
  5. Stir well and cook over medium/low heat until the cheese is melted and the mixture is hot.
  6. Alternatively, cook in a crock-pot on low until ready to serve.
  7. Serve by placing Fritos or Doritos on a plate and topping with the creamy taco mixture.
