Ingredients

  • 1 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 c. warm water
  • 1 c. Crisco
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 pkg. dry yeast
  • 6 c. flour

Instructions

  1. Pour hot water over Crisco, sugar, and salt. Blend and let cool.
  2. Beat eggs. Put yeast in warm water; dissolve.
  3. Add yeast and eggs to cooled Crisco mixture and blend.
  4. Add flour and mix well.
  5. Cover and set in refrigerator 4 hours or overnight.
