Crock Pot Grains
Ingredients
- 14 cup millet ⓘ
- 14 cup barley ⓘ
- 13 cup brown rice ⓘ
- 1 cup onion, chopped ⓘ
- 1 cup green bell pepper, chopped ⓘ
- 12 cup carrot, finely diced ⓘ
- 1 (15 1/2 ounce) can kidney beans, drained ⓘ
- 8 ounces tomato sauce, salt free ⓘ
- 1 lb canned tomato, chopped, drained, reserve liquid ⓘ
- 1 12 cups canned corn or 1 12 cups frozen corn, drained ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano ⓘ
- 1 teaspoon dried basil ⓘ
- 12 teaspoon garlic powder ⓘ
- salt and pepper ⓘ
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients in a crock pot.
- Add water to reserved tomato liquid to equal 2 1/2 cups.
- Stir into grain mixture.
- Cover and cook on low setting 8 hours.
- Stir before serving.
