Tips & Substitutions

For a richer flavor, consider adding Italian herbs like oregano or basil to the meat mixture. If you prefer a lighter version, substitute ground turkey for the beef. You can also use whole wheat lasagna noodles for a healthier option. To enhance the cheesy flavor, mix in some ricotta cheese with the cottage cheese. Always remember to break the noodles to fit your crock-pot size.

Serving Suggestions

This Crock-Pot Lasagna pairs beautifully with a fresh green salad and garlic bread for a complete meal. For an Italian-inspired dinner, serve with a side of steamed vegetables or a light antipasto platter. You can also sprinkle fresh basil or parsley on top before serving for added flavor and presentation.

Storage & Reheating

Store any leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 4 days. To reheat, place a serving in the microwave and heat for 1-2 minutes, or until warmed through.
