Ingredients

  • 1 head cabbage, chopped
  • 4 carrots, chopped
  • 2 bell peppers, chopped
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 2 tsp. celery seed
  • about 5 tsp. salt
  • 2 1/2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. white vinegar

Instructions

  1. Pour tap water over the chopped cabbage, carrots, bell peppers, onions, and celery seed to cover.
  2. Add about 5 teaspoons of salt to taste.
  3. Let the mixture set for 2 hours.
