Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lbs hamburger
  • 2 large potatoes
  • 2-3 medium carrots
  • 1 pint peas
  • 1 medium onion
  • 2 celery stalks
  • 1 can tomato soup
  • 1 can water
  • 1 can beef gravy (optional)

Instructions

  1. Layer sliced potatoes, sliced carrots, sliced celery, and sliced onion in the crockpot, seasoning each layer with salt and pepper.
  2. Add the browned hamburger on top of the celery layer.
  3. Mix the tomato soup with one can of water and pour the mixture over the hamburger.
  4. Cover and cook on high for 2 to 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
  5. Optional: add one can of beef gravy after the mixture has cooked for some time.
