Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 cup margarine or butter, softened
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 8 cups cornflakes, crushed to 5 cups
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate morsels
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter morsels

Instructions

  1. Stir together flour, salt, baking powder, and baking soda; set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together sugar and margarine until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well.
  4. Stir in dry ingredients and mix until thoroughly combined.
  5. Add 2 cups of crushed cornflakes, chocolate, and peanut butter morsels; mix to combine.
  6. Drop by slightly rounded tablespoonfuls into remaining cereal coating.
  7. Flatten slightly and place 2 inches apart on a greased baking sheet.
  8. Bake at 350°F for about 15 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Cool on wire rack before storing in an airtight container.
