Ingredients

  • 1/4 lb. margarine
  • 2 squares unsweetened or German chocolate
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine and chocolate together over low heat.
  2. Combine eggs, sugar, and brown sugar in a bowl.
  3. Add the melted chocolate mixture, flour, salt, vanilla, and nuts; mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into a greased 9-inch pie plate or use a graham cracker crust.
  5. Bake for 30 minutes at 350°F.
  6. Just before serving, top with ice cream or whipped cream.
  7. May be frozen for later use.
