Cucumber Appetizer

A refreshing cucumber appetizer featuring creamy dill-flavored spread on bread slices, topped with cucumber and garnished with paprika for a colorful, tasty snack suitable for parties.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 Tbsp. mayonnaise
  • 1 Tbsp. dill weed
  • 1 pkg. Good Seasons Italian dressing (dry)
  • 1 loaf cocktail pumpernickel sliced bread
  • 1 cucumber
  • paprika

Instructions

  1. Blend the softened cream cheese and mayonnaise together.
  2. Add the dry Italian dressing mix to the cream cheese mixture and blend well.
  3. Stir in the dill weed into the mixture.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture onto slices of cocktail pumpernickel bread.
  5. Score the cucumber lengthwise with a fork and then slice it thin.
  6. Place one cucumber slice on each bread and spread of mixture.
  7. Sprinkle dill weed and paprika on top for color and flavor.
