Ingredients

  • 3 or 4 large cucumbers
  • salt
  • pepper
  • Italian seasoned bread crumbs
  • 1 egg

Instructions

  1. Pare cucumbers and cut into sticks lengthwise.
  2. Dry slices with paper towels.
  3. Season the cucumber sticks with salt and pepper.
  4. Dip the cucumber sticks in seasoned bread crumbs, then in beaten egg, then in bread crumbs again.
  5. Fry in olive oil until golden brown.
