Ingredients

  • 1 rabbit, dressed
  • 2 onions, chopped
  • 4 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 tsp. ginger
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. margarine
  • 3 tsp. curry powder
  • 1 tsp. chili powder
  • 2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. sage
  • 1 pt. tomatoes
  • 2 Tbsp. yogurt
  • 2 tsp. lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Soak the rabbit in salted water for about 30 minutes.
  2. Wash and drain the rabbit.
  3. Saute chopped onions, garlic, and ginger in margarine.
  4. Add curry powder, chili powder, salt, and sage.
  5. Heat the mixture for about 1 minute, then add the tomatoes.
  6. Saute the mixture with the tomatoes and then add the yogurt.
  7. Allow to cook with stirring for 20 to 30 minutes.
