Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. shortening
  • 1 c. peanut butter
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 c. oatmeal
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 bag chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Cream the first 5 ingredients, then add the remaining ingredients.
  2. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Drop by teaspoon onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350° for 10 to 12 minutes.
  4. This makes a large batch.
