Ingredients

  • 4 oz. patma rice
  • 1 1/4 pt. water
  • 1/2 Tbsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 to 3/4 pt. whipping cream
  • 3 to 3 1/2 oz. finely chopped almonds
  • 2 Tbsp. sugar
  • tinned or bottled cherries

Instructions

  1. Cook the rice in water until tender, together with the vanilla and sugar.
  2. Stir in half of the whipped cream and the chopped almonds.
  3. Whip the remaining cream and fold it into the mixture.
  4. Serve cold with preserved cherries.
