Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 tablespoons cocoa
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • dash of salt
  • 2 teaspoons vinegar
  • 6 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup water

Instructions

  1. In a 9 x 9-inch cake pan, mix all dry ingredients.
  2. Do not grease the pan. Make three small pockets in the dry mixture.
  3. Place vinegar, oil, and vanilla in each pocket.
  4. Pour water over everything and mix well.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes.
