Instructions
- Add butter and salt to hot coffee and soak dates; let cool. Add sugar, eggs, flour, soda, vanilla and nuts.
- Pour into two 9 x 4 1/4 x 3-inch loaf pans which have been greased and lined with wax paper.
- Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 1 1/4 hours.
