Ingredients

  • 2 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon melted butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts

  • 1 package dates, cut up
  • 1 cup boiling water (for dates)
