Tips & Substitutions

For a richer flavor, consider using brown sugar instead of white sugar, which adds a hint of caramel. If you don't have oleo, unsalted butter can be a great substitute. To enhance the texture, try adding a mix of dried fruits alongside the dates, such as raisins or cranberries. Ensure the mixture isn’t too warm before rolling to prevent sticky hands.
