Ingredients

  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. flour
  • 2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. dates, chopped
  • 1/2 c. milk
  • 1/2 c. nuts
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • lump butter
  • 2 c. water
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Instructions

  1. Bring to boil; stir well.
  2. Pour over first mixture.
  3. Bake 1 hour in 350°
  4. oven.
  5. Top with whipping cream.
