- Hold your finger over the bottom of a funnel.
- Pour about 1/4 cup of batter into the funnel.
- Remove your finger and let the batter drop in a spiral motion into the hot oil.
- Fry until golden brown; turn once while cooking with tongs.
- Remove from the pan and drain on paper towels.
