Ingredients

  • 1 large roast
  • 8 to 10 potatoes
  • 2 to 3 large onions
  • 10 to 15 carrots
  • 2 cans creamy onion soup
  • 2 cans Franco-American beef gravy
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Put the large roast in a roasting pan so that half of it is covered.
  2. Bake at 425°F for 1 hour.
  3. While the roast is baking, heat the creamy onion soup in a saucepan until smooth.
  4. Add the soup and beef gravy to the roast and carrots in the pan.
  5. Reduce oven temperature to 375°F.
  6. Bake for about 30 minutes, then add the potatoes and onions to the pan and continue baking.
