- Put the large roast in a roasting pan so that half of it is covered.
- Bake at 425°F for 1 hour.
- While the roast is baking, heat the creamy onion soup in a saucepan until smooth.
- Add the soup and beef gravy to the roast and carrots in the pan.
- Reduce oven temperature to 375°F.
- Bake for about 30 minutes, then add the potatoes and onions to the pan and continue baking.
