Suzie Steak features tender round steak topped with flavorful bell peppers, onions, lemon, and a sweet catsup glaze, baked to perfection—ideal for comforting family dinners.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. round steak
  • bell pepper rings
  • sliced onion rings
  • lemon rings
  • 1 cup catsup
  • 1 Tbsp. sugar

Instructions

  1. Brown the round steak in a skillet.
  2. Place the browned steak in a casserole dish.
  3. Prepare gravy from the drippings in the skillet.
  4. Pour the gravy over the steak.
  5. Arrange bell pepper rings, onion rings, and lemon slices on top of the steak.
  6. Pour the catsup mixture over the steak and vegetables.
  7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35 minutes.
  8. Place small whole boiled potatoes on top of the dish.
  9. Bake for an additional 25 minutes.
