- Lightly grease an 8-inch glass baking dish.
- Place half of the sliced apples in the dish and drizzle with half of the corn syrup.
- Add the remaining apples, lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In a separate bowl, combine 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, sugar, salt, softened butter, flour, and oats; mix well.
- Press the mixture firmly over the apples in the dish.
