Deep Dish Spaghetti Pie

Ingredients

  • 6 ounces uncooked spaghetti
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 (14 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 1 (11 ounce) can corn, drained
  • 1 small green pepper, cut into rings
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions

  1. Cook spaghetti, drain; rinse with hot water.
  2. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  3. Grease a 10 inch pie pan or 9 inch square pan.
  4. Combine cooked spaghetti, eggs, and parmesan cheese; toss lightly.
  5. Place in greased pan and press evenly over bottom and up sides of pan to form crust.
  6. Set aside.
  7. In large skillet, brown ground beef with onion until beef is cooked.
  8. Drain.
  9. Stir in spaghetti sauce and corn.
  10. Spoon evenly over crust.
  11. Top with green pepper rings and sprinkle with parmesan cheese.
  12. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes.
  13. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
