Ingredients

  • 1 c. rolled oats
  • 1 c. raisins
  • 1 1/4 c. boiling water
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 c. flour
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Pour water over oats and raisins; cover and set aside. Cream brown sugar, butter and vanilla. Add the eggs, then the oats. Mix well and stir in dry ingredients. Pour into 9 x 13-inch greased pan. Bake at 350° for 35 minutes.
