Ingredients

  • 1 unbaked pie shell
  • 5 cups berries
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/3 to 1/2 cup flour
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • dash of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 8 Tbsp. flour

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F.
  2. Fill the unbaked pie shell with berries to level, approximately 5 cups.
  3. In a mixing bowl, beat 2 eggs well.
  4. Add 1 1/2 cups sugar to the eggs and mix thoroughly.
  5. Stir in 1/3 to 1/2 cup flour, 1/2 cup heavy cream, a dash of salt, and 1 teaspoon vanilla until smooth.
  6. Pour the mixture over the berries in the pie shell.
  7. Bake the pie at 325°F for 1 hour or longer until the sugar center is done.
