- Melt oleo in a flat baking dish.
- Use just enough to cover the bottom of the dish.
- Sprinkle salt, pepper, and freshly ground nutmeg over the butter in the dish.
- Slice potatoes in half and place, cut side down, in the dish.
- Lightly butter the potato skins.
- Bake at 425°F (220°C) for 45 to 60 minutes until potatoes are tender.
