Ingredients

  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans
  • 8 oz. cream cheese
  • 1/2 (10 oz.) carton Cool Whip
  • 2 small or 1 large package instant chocolate pudding
  • 3/4 cup flour

Instructions

  1. Melt margarine; add flour and chopped pecans.
  2. Pat the mixture into a pan and bake at 375°F for 20 minutes; let cool.
  3. In a bowl, blend together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and half of the Cool Whip until smooth.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the cooled crust.
  5. Chill the dessert until set.
  6. Prepare the instant pudding mix according to package directions.
  7. Pour the pudding over the cream cheese layer.
  8. Spread the remaining half of Cool Whip on top.
  9. Chill before serving.
