Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. yeast
  • 1/4 tsp. soda
  • 1 unbeaten egg (at room temperature)
  • 3 1/2 c. bread flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/4 c. water
  • 3/4 c. sour cream
  • 3 Tbsp. minced dried onion
  • 2 Tbsp. whole dill seed
  • 1 1/2 Tbsp. butter
  • 3/4 c. cottage cheese
  • 3 Tbsp. sugar

Instructions

  1. In order listed, place yeast, soda, bread flour, salt, and egg in the inner pan of the bread machine.
  2. Warm the remaining ingredients (water, sour cream, dried onion, dill seed, butter, cottage cheese, sugar).
  3. Add the warmed ingredients to the bread machine pan.
  4. Select the white bread setting and press "Start."
  5. Lightly brush the top of the bread with melted butter at baking time if desired.
