Instructions
- Select small firm green tomatoes.
- Leave stems on.
- Pack tomatoes in sterilized quart jars.
- Add garlic, celery, green pepper, and dill or dill seed to each jar.
- Combine water, vinegar, and salt in a pot for about 8 quarts.
- Cook the mixture for 5 minutes.
- Fill jars to 1/2-inch from the top with the hot mixture.
- Seal the jars.
- Boil Mason jar lids for 10 minutes to seal.
- Put on rings after sealing and while jars are hot.
- No additional processing is needed.
