Delightful mini cream puffs with fluffy pastry shells filled with vanilla pudding and topped with Cool Whip and cherries, perfect for parties and sweet gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/4 cup margarine
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 small box vanilla instant pudding
  • Cool Whip

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
  2. Heat water and margarine to a rolling boil.
  3. Stir in flour vigorously over low heat until the mixture forms a ball, about 1 minute.
  4. Remove from heat.
  5. Beat in eggs thoroughly, one at a time, until smooth.
  6. Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto a slightly greased cookie sheet.
  7. Bake for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown and dry.
  8. Cool the puffs.
  9. Cut off the tops and scoop out the filaments from each puff.
  10. Make vanilla pudding according to package directions.
  11. Fill the puffs with pudding.
  12. Top each filled puff with a dollop of Cool Whip and half a cherry.
