Crispy, golden fried fish with a flavorful seasoned coating, perfect for a satisfying seafood meal suitable for family dinners or casual gatherings.

Ingredients

  • 2 lb. fish fillets (catfish, bass or trout)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper
  • 1 cup yellow corn meal
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 cup Pet milk
  • cooking oil (for deep fryer)

Instructions

  1. Wash fish fillets thoroughly.
  2. Shake together in a paper bag the flour, corn meal, red pepper, salt, and onion powder.
  3. Dip each fish fillet into Pet milk.
  4. Drop the fish into the bag with dry ingredients to coat.
  5. Fry in deep hot cooking oil (375°F) until golden brown.
