Ingredients

  • 2 c. raisins
  • 3/4 c. crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 3 c. quick oatmeal
  • 2 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 c. evaporated milk
  • 1/2 stick margarine

Instructions

  1. Grease a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch pan or line it with waxed paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine raisins, quick oatmeal, and brown sugar.
  3. In a saucepan, melt margarine and evaporated milk over medium heat.
  4. Stir in crunchy peanut butter and vanilla until smooth.
  5. Pour the hot mixture over the dry ingredients and mix well.
  6. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared pan.
  7. Let cool and set before cutting into bars.
