Ingredients

  • 1 pint frozen peas
  • 1 1/2 cups fresh mushrooms
  • 1/2 cup sliced green onions
  • 2 teaspoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cup butter

Instructions

  1. In a small amount of water, cook frozen peas until tender. Drain and set aside.
  2. Saute mushrooms and green onions in butter until tender.
  3. Stir in flour, sugar, paprika, salt, Worcestershire sauce, and evaporated milk.
  4. Cook and stir until the mixture is smooth and thickened.
  5. Add the cooked peas and serve.
