Double Mocha Cake

Instructions
- Cream shortening and sugar.
- Beat egg yolks and add to creamed mixture; beat well.
- Combine dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk, beginning and ending with flour mixture.
- Stir in cold coffee and vanilla.
- Beat egg whites until stiff and fold into batter.
- Pour into 3 greased and floured 9-inch pans.
- Bake at 350° for 23 to 25 minutes or until wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
- Cool in pans for 10 minutes.
- Remove from pans and cool.
- Frost with Creamy Mocha Icing.
