Ingredients

  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 1/3 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • dash of cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Mix all of the ingredients to form batter.
  2. Heat oil for frying in a medium-sized skillet.
  3. Drop batter by teaspoons into hot oil.
  4. Remove when brown on all sides.
  5. Drain on paper towels.
  6. Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
