Ingredients

  • 8 dove breasts
  • 3 carrots, diced
  • 2 potatoes, cubed
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1/4 lb butter
  • oil

Instructions

  1. Mix flour, salt, and pepper.
  2. Roll the dove breasts in the mixture, brown in oil, and drain.
  3. Cover the browned dove breasts with water and simmer for 30 minutes.
  4. Add diced carrots, cubed potatoes, and chopped onion to the pot and cook for an additional 30 minutes.
  5. Transfer the cooked mixture into a casserole dish.
  6. Top with biscuits and spread with butter.
  7. Place in a preheated oven at 400°F and bake until biscuits are brown.
