Downhome Apple Pie

Instructions
- Place one unbaked pie crust in pie plate.
- Mix all ingredients and heap in pie plate. Cover with second pie crust, removed from store tin.
- Press top and bottom crusts together with tines of fork or your favorite fluting technique. Cut several small slits for steam to escape.
- Bake at 400° for 50 to 60 minutes. Check for doneness by piercing apples through a slit.
- Cool before slicing. Yields 6 slices.
