Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
  • 1/2 cup soft bread crumbs
  • 1/2 cup red wine
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green pepper
  • 1 teaspoon instant beef bouillon
  • 1 teaspoon brown bouquet sauce
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper

Instructions

  1. Thoroughly blend all ingredients.
  2. Press the mixture into a 9 x 5-inch loaf dish or a 9-inch round baking dish with an inverted custard cup in the center.
  3. Microwave at High until the internal temperature reaches 150°F, about 11 to 15 minutes.
  4. Rotate the dish once or twice during cooking.
  5. Let stand for 3 to 5 minutes before serving.
