Juicy drip beef cooked slowly with garlic salt, oregano, rosemary, and au jus, resulting in tender shredded meat perfect for sandwiches and hearty meals.

Ingredients

  • 5 lb. boneless rump roast
  • 1 Tbsp. garlic salt
  • 1/2 tsp. oregano
  • 2 beef bouillon cubes
  • 1/2 tsp. rosemary
  • 1 package au jus mix
  • 1 Tbsp. minced onion

Instructions

  1. Remove excess fat from the boneless rump roast and place it in a Dutch oven or crock-pot.
  2. Add garlic salt, oregano, rosemary, beef bouillon cubes, minced onion, and au jus mix to the meat.
  3. Barely cover the meat with water.
  4. Simmer covered in a slow oven or crock-pot for 8 to 10 hours.
  5. When done, lift the meat to a platter and shred it with a fork.
  6. Return the shredded meat to the pot with the cooking juices.
  7. Serve on warm buns.
