Ingredients

  • 3 cups potatoes, diced
  • 1 cup carrots, diced
  • 1 tart apple, peeled and sliced
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • 1 teaspoon chopped celery
  • 1/8 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 teaspoons butter or margarine
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Cook all ingredients except butter until tender or cook 3 minutes in a pressure cooker (low pressure).
  2. Arrange the cooked mixture in a ring on a plate with the carrots in the center.
  3. Garnish with parsley or long green pickles.
